The D & Co. wrap looks like the one at Nordstrom for a few dollars more, in regular and petites.

Yes!  I've been seeing this style all over the place, at all price points, since Fall.  It's my look, I'm a jeans/top/boots girl now.  I like the button, i don't care for fly away tops.  I saw it earlier but I was making coffee and just glanced at it.  Now I'll have to go back and really look at it.  I think black might be a nice alternartive to a black blazer.

I have this Nordie's version in rust and black and I LOVE it. The D&Co version doesn't seem to hang right - I bought one and had to return it. The fabric is too stiff and it made me look huge (I'm a medium). It also seemed skimpy re: fabric and didn't hang in a flattering way (at least on ME). I did get the LOGO Leisure version - nice, but not as nice as the Nordie one - the fabric is much more high quality on my original two. I sized up to a large on the LOGO top - the fabric tends to show lumps and bumps not seen in the fleecy Nordstrom version.

I have worn the black one to work with a gray pencil skirt, black tights, shooties and a turrtleneck underneath. I basically bought them for Adirondack trips - when I needed something warm to wear over jeans and turtlenecks with boots.

Edited to add - it was a LOGO Lounge top: A268914

Wow! Welcome to all the recent AM Style chatters this morning! It took me about an hour to realize it was Jayne and not Leah this morning, lol. I am always more focused on the chat than the show! Woman LOL

I'm washing clothes this morning.  It's really sunny, but cold.  Since there aren't leaves on the trees, the sun shines through the window.  I dusted the furniture and polished the mirrors yesterday morning (when it was cloudy).  I can see some of the dust I missed on the furniture now with the sun shining so brightly!

My opinion only, of course, but doesn't matter where they come from, I don't like them, don't own any. They might be ok for slouching around the house (I prefer a zip front hoodie), but professionally, just wear a blazer and look professional.

Well, the thing about looking "professional" at work today is that the working world and what is considered "professional" has changed drastically in the past 10 years.  Also, just as businesses differ, the culture in offices differs to.  Where I work office cultrure differs from division to division in the same building.    That old fashioned dress"professionally" with "blazer" went out 20 years ago.  Now when a woman wears a blazer, it;s about style and not the job.  This is exactly what many women wear to many offices.  In fact, for those of us in our 40's and above who want to remain relevent in the work place, we walk a fine line.  Nothing says "old lady" like dressing like an office worker from 1999.

I agree

I think unless you are at the corporate level or a lawyer etc, wearing a blazer/suit to an office is a bit 1999.  Stopped at the bank on Wednesday the Bank Branch Mgr was dress in a blouse/skirt combo.  More relaxed

Heading to the shower, then off to spend my Kohl's Cash and then to buy a new garbage disposal which I hope to install this afternoon. I'm just going to channel @Bird mama and her mechanical skills. Who needs a man?? Hahahaha. Have a great weekend everyone! Go Vikings!

Good luck with the garbage disposal.  Just so you know, I had mine replaced by a professional when I bought a new kitchen faucet.

I'm heading to the shower also, think hubby and I are going to the casino today, we talked about it all through the holiday, but figured it would be jam packed, surely by now it will be back to the regular weekend sized crowds. Wish me luck, lol. Been fun chatting. Hope everyone has a nice weekend.
