Yes, look at the mascara model.  In the before picture, the inner tissue around the eye looked normal color.  With all the mascara, her inner eye tissue is pinking up and is irritated.  Also, the models eyes look like they are watering more with all that mascara on.

I can't wear mascara nor eye liner anymore.  I have problems with watery eyes, and they get irritated very easily, especially my right eye.  I only wear a little bit if I'm going someplace special (which seldom happens).
