Hi, jackthebear, snickster, SoX...
My GAP orders got confusing and I got more than I bargained for, so will return some in person. Aeropostale had sales and I need new... so will also be doing some returning there, too. WHEW clothes shopping/buying is hard work!

I am in the process of transferring my home phone service to another company. My intent was to keep the AT&T DSL service. When I called AT&T yesterday to make sure nothing would go off the rails, it had gone off the rails and they were taking it upon themselves to shut down my DSL too, since it was all on one bill? What kind of sense is that? I had the phone service first, then added internet. Now one can't exist without the other?
I tried to go online to order that Uverse internet and get the great sales promotion and rewards card. The site won't give me the rate because I am an existing AT&T customer - one of my biggest problems with that company - they chase new subscribers and forget about existing ones.
I followed up with a different customer service rep late yesterday afternoon. In order to get the good rate, I need to let it all close out, give it a day or so, then go online and act like I'm new - I might not have the modem next Saturday
They do dumb things... would not add our landline for a promotional rate (although a relative got to do this) b/c we are existing customers. I'd rather not have our land-line tied to our internet anyway... but what a way to lose business!
Not much about cable companies makes any sense. But if we want to do this, I guess we are stuck

Hi Jack - I think if you are not really loving the IMAN pants by now, that could be telling you something. I probably would have tried a set if both were solid. I knew that paisley was a little too resort for me.

Morning lovely ladies!
Bird, love those shoes!! So glad your sister is settled at her job, I recall when she was job hunting. Security is such a sweet thing.
I have been bored with shopping for a while. I have many cute spring/summer outfits that I don't fit into now, because of some extra weight. Grrrr! So the best thing I can do to "shop" is lose these pounds so I can fit into clothes I love sitting in my closet.
What about changing closets for the season, who has done that? I haven't but need to soon... we're having days in the 80s now.

Bird, I feel your pain with AT&T ... I've been through it, too. I remember us talking about this a few months ago. I refuse to give up my land line to go with Uverse ... and they keep going up on the price of my land line.

Bird, I know it is the gold on the pants that I am not happy about. The black is great so should I keep the black for $40? IS the question. I just like the fit on them so much at 5 3 not so easy to find that "in the marketplace"

It would be nice if every person at the company said the same thing. I get one person who says the promotional rate applies to residential customers NEW TO U-VERSE. I think, well that's me. When I try to order UVERSE internet, it charges me a higher rate.
I'm not ignorant about my internet service - DSL is ADSL. Uverse is VDSL - basically all DSL when you boil it down. AT&T is the one trying to act like it's different. I'm stubborn on this issue and refuse to pay $44 base per month when I can pay $29.95 per month.
It's the principle and I am not budging. You'd think they'd look at my history and saw wow - Bernie has been a dedicated customer for over 25 years - now she took her cell service elsewhere, is taking her phone service elsewhere. How do we keep her business?
I told a CS rep yesterday, if there were more options in SE MI for internet, I wouldn't be trying to keep my internet with AT&T. I was tired and crabby when I said it .
