What a "fractured" time this was! Couldn't make up its mind, I guess. Had forgotten all about "The Villager" store in our local mall!  The outfits shown below would be reminiscent of the beautiful woolen items with embroidered cardigans and matching leather belts! I'd dream about waking up with a closet full of these!

I was crazy about that look, at the time it was more than we could afford, so I tried to emulate it.

70's had some rather fugly stuff, but there are some wonderful things too.

Take away the guys, change the hair to blonde, and this would have been one of my outfits. The knee high skin-tight boots/tights/hot pants (really?) yes ... Ok now laff

 

i was in college, the 60's had resulted in hippie left-overs and everyone was poor so we CONSTANTLY wore jeans... High-waisted bell-bottoms and very tall shoes
