Just hopped on the website and see they are showing a super cute (to me) Kim Gravel top. For $60 plus s/h. Geezopete!!  I often shop locally and could buy a similar top and pants for that money! Im grateful to have local options like Bealls, Walmart. And Amazon- yesterday I ordered three very nice casual tops for a grand total of $37 and change. No shipping charges, 2 day delivery.

@smoochy

I've never bought clothes on Amazon but was looking for a specific style top last week.

One item looked great ... a polo-style shirt.... but it was priced at $3.99!   HOW is that possible?

I read a TON of reviews on garments that appeal to me. often times that leads me to purchase-or not.

A polo of any quality for that price? Hmm dunno about that

Agreed - I haven't purchased anything from Kim Gravel in quite a while.  I just can't justify the price anymore.  The other problem is that her sizing is all over the place.  It's either too big, too long,  or the material isn't great.  I should be able to order the same size in her brand without hesitation and I just can't do that anymore either.  Oh well.

Yes, there are many other places to shop for a more reasonable price.  I have been going to Amazon more and more for "novelty" type tops.  I don't need to spend $80 for a Valentine's Day top when I can buy one for $20 or less on Amazon, especially when I'll only wear it for a few days out of the year.

I have trouble with Kim's sizing too and have had to send too much back. I find her tops run big. I am small boned and short but have ample chest. I buy small in Belle and sometimes they are too big. In retail I buy Petite Medium. I do buy her Primabelle jeans when they come in Petite but thats about it till she offers Petite sizing in tops.

$60 is close to a bargain these days. Many tops from all lines are well over that.

I just purchased this from Amazon.  It's my first fashion purchase from them.  The fit was perfect, but I have yet to wash it.
