I have spent much more then that on terry cloth pants. I would not spent any kind of money on SG line. Not my style.

This morning, I heard Susan say she was going to be bringing a lot of her woven tops in the coming months. I love them! If you notice they have been sold out for some time.

I love her French terry jackets/pants/tops, but her woven Henley is the BEST top she's ever done (since I've been purchasing).

A similar pant at Athleta is $98. They aren't sweat pants; I bought some of SG's French terry bottoms. I personally really like the fabric.

Regardless of what they are made of, it's all about the cut and the fit. Pants are hard for some to find a good fit. Me included. If I find a pair that looks good, I will make the investment on those pants rather than spend a lot of money on less expensive pants that are ill-fitting.

I just tried on a pair of jeans the other day that I loved on me. They were 104.00! Never paid that much for jeans. I put them back. But I keep thinking about them and how much wear I would get out of them because they looked good. I am considering buying them. Maybe two.

Some may think $45 is too much to pay for leisure/casual pants. The good news is there are less expensive choices for you.

In the scheme of things, I bet there are as many French terry pants $45+ than under $45.

ITA. People spend their money on different things. People have different incomes, living expenses, etc.

I am friends with a woman who refuses to pay for a cup of coffee at Starbucks because she thinks it's too expensive. But when she and her husband buy new luxury cars, they pay cash and always have.

It's just all about what is important to you. And how you want to spend and save and invest your money and what makes you happy and what you care about.
