What we never know is why.  We don't know if Louis and Jac wanted to make the trip or are enjoying a vacation away from winter.  We don't know why he didn't negotiate with QVC to be included in this fashion day.  We just don't know.

I don't own or watch him, so I hadn't noticed his absence.

@millieshops*****Totally agree with you, however, they're not all on vacation.

I'm wondering if QVC only has on the lines they make the most profits on?

Re: 48 Hour Fashion Days and No Linea?

Many of us are thrilled about Halston & actively shopping the line. Same with GILI & Lisa Rinna.

I don't have interest or shop many of the established lines like D&C, LCNY or Quacker. Not my style at all. but I wouldn't say they are horrible or ugly. Why do we need to go there???

It appears Q is trying to reach new customers/demographics and if sales revenue is increasing as a result, they will continue with this strategy.

I have only watched a few of the Fashion Day shows so I can't comment on what's being presented new like CWonder vs established. But overall I'm happy to see the newer, fresher options and I am shopping more at Q as a result.

@Chi-town girl

my spending has increased at qvc also. i am liking some of the new items they are bringing! i have been spending too much on GILI and LOGO lately! lol

louis was on last week.......on friday. he has never been featured on regular fashion days, but he has been featured on "designer fashion days," i dont think that ldo and jac can drive down here every week to do a show or two. his line is more limited than most of the lines featured today.

george simonton is gone unfortunately.

i have no doubt that they tend to feature the lines that qvc actually owns so that they make more money. i also think they like to feature the NEW lines that they hope catch on. i am liking the halston line quite a lot.

@sunshine45 - I agree! I do like some of the Linea line but most of my accessory & apparel purchases are from the newer lines. Q is trying to expand it's customer base. Love the Halston line! I'm a happy Halstonette ;-)

Basso will be on Thursday.  Again, maybe these two fashion days didn't comport with his schedule.

Re: 48 Hour Fashion Days and No Linea?

I worked long hours both days so all I did was check online what was being sold. I noticed Linea was missing, but there are just too many brands to include all of them. Even if they only did one hour of each, they still couldn't show every line as there are more than that in the Q's list of fashion brands.

Linea isn't one of Qv'c;s big guns, Fashion days are all about sales and they logically give the time to the designers who sell the most.  Just be thankful Qvc hasn't dropped Linea yet.

Maybe a QVC poll of customers before these all-day shows would guide them as to which vendors most would like to see.

It's really a catch-22 when it comes tro Linea,  Linea isn't one of QVC's big guns as you say, becasue the buyers don't purchase enough of his clothes.  I read all the time on the Linea forum how you need to order early to get your size or clolor.  And QVC seems to be very stingy with re-ordering.  So it''s not Linea's fault.  It's QVC.  Makes no business sense to me, when you have a very loyal customer base, why QVC isn't taking advantage of it.
