Re: 40 Outfits to Try This Year

Well, I've got one out of two requirements for 99% of these outfits.  I'm in pretty good shape.  I still don't wear mini-skirts, ripped jeans, skin tight pants, or stilettos.

Some fabulous bags pictured and some nice pieces that could be combined in other ways to work... Otherwise, quite a few too costume-like looks together with quite a few 'poured into' looks and I've never been a fan of ripped, cut-off or torn 'fashion'... I suppose it's possible all these are 'real' women. I guess you don't have to be a model if you've been 'styled' to within an inch of your life... I'm tall and fairly slender but I'd still probably opt out of most of these get-ups.

Nice of you to post @lolakimono, it was a lot of work...

That was my thought -- many didn't look like "effortless chic," they looked costume-like.

This blouse is 17.00 from whowhatwear at Target and it's AMAZING in person.

This is a collection of outfits from a blogger who calls them "real women" outfits, as in "no models" were used in the pictures.

Do you wear any of these now, or would you try any of these looks?

What would you swap out if there is something you don't care for?

I'd wear different shoes but I like this outfit.

If the skirt was a bit longer, knee length, I'd be all over this outfit.

Give this girl another pair of these shoes 1/2 a size larger.

Re: 40 Outfits to Try This Year

I'm crazy about the long sleeve mock turtleneck navy top and navy lace skirt with embroidered lace detail at the hemline.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
