Some of the celebrities look so lovely and appropriate.  Others look like they're ready for Halloween.

I just don't understand why these people seem to go for the shock value instead of something classic.  Some of the men just look ridiculous.  Nothing better than a man in a classic tuxedo properly fitted.

Maybe I'm just too old to understand why some dress the way they do.  I'll stick with football tonight.

@momoftwo2007 Scarlett was just on stage, she looked incredible. That body. Nicole looks good too.

Jennifer Aniston is wearing a white/ivory dress and looked so pretty receiving her award. Beautiful diamond ring and earrings too. Unfortunately the top was revealing something...well it was obvious.

My goodness - Patricia Arquette - that suit is just awful and just plain does not fit her body. 

Nicole Kidman looks good in the navy gown.  Scarlett Johansson looks va va voom in that dress.  Beautiful color blue on her.  I do like Jennifer Anniston's dress but what to do about the bust area?  Is that a look she is going for?  She had to be aware of it.

More long stringy hair looks.  Jennifer Garner's dress is pretty but would look better with her long hair pulled back somehow.  She's got such a cute face and her hair is long enough to do something with.  jmo

I don't get those cable channels so I can't watch.

@jellyBEAN :  When I was very young and could wear a long dress without a bra (I was built like a boy) I learned two strategically placed round bandaids really helped this type of look!  I'm sure J.A.'s stylist is well aware of this and other tricks, so my verdict is "no mistake, it was deliberate.
