I don't like it at all. She looks way too top heavy. She needed to balance it out to flatter her figure. 

Most were pretty good this year, a few duds.

While I hate pulling the age appropriate nonsense I do think Ariel's dress would have looked better on an older woman. I can see Helen Mirren in that dress and it would be spectacular on her

I must not watch a lot of television shows because I honestly do not know who half these women are.  My opinion of the garments: Viola Davis's stylist gets a thumbs up from me. The hot pink rocks against her chocolate skintone and shape of the dress is good for her.  The hairstyle works too.  Whoever that is in the one shoulder floating red chiffon is stunning!   Tracy Ellis Ross is wearing a look I might have chosen for myself for such an event. She's showing skin, but still remains to appear covered... and I love a white formal.  It's nothing new, but far too many of these women (or I should accuse their stylists), seem to equate exposed sides of the breasts and cleavage, and split up to private regions with glamour.

The only ones I liked were worn by Julia Louise Dreyfus, Claire Danes, and Tina Fey. I have never seen so many dresses I disliked. I hate the super low cut being worn by many.
