1960 - 1970's Halloween costume

Going to a friends gig at a local restaurant on Thursday night and it is a 60's -70's theme, I have a costume that is polyester and not comfortable

I need quick thought on what I could possibly put together, I am kind of clueless right now

Thanks all

Long wig and fur vest = Cher.

I'm sure others will be more creative, but that's what popped into my head!

If you have any bell bottom jeans or wide leg pants you could build a 60's "love child" costume around this. Get some beads, a head band, paint a flower on your cheek, maybe some large sunglasses and if you want to do it up right a long straight wig from Party City.  Look up pictures of 60's or 70's costumes on line. I have a friend who goes to Goodwill at the last moment and comes up with great ideas. I'm not that creative. Good luck and have a great time.

These are all great ideas.  Another, think of popular toys from that time frame.....can ou go as:

Barbie

Hula Hoop Girl

Gi Joe or Ken

Twister - just wrap the mat around you

Cowboy - Westerns were popular think Gunsmoke

Saloon Girl

Just go through your memories.  You'll think of someting.
