...at Macy’s. 3 capris, 1 shorts, & 2 tops. I took 2 hours to try on a lot of choices and left tired but happy. They fit and look great. It’s hot and unfortunately I needed a size larger than last summer. Sometimes a brick & mortar store is the right way to go. No s & h, just need the time to do it right.

@birdQ13   Good for you!  I like several brands offered in Macy's.  I shop in their petite department.  As a matter of fact today I bought a pair of Alfani capri pants and a coordinating top on sale for a family party I have this weekend.  You're right no shipping & handling fees.  Don't be hard on yourself for the size - it's just a number and if the clothes fit & you feel good in them that's what counts!

Macy's sales have great prices on stylish clothes. I usually shop Macy's online, but I went into the store to order furniture this week and there were lots of sale prices there. The store here is in the process of being painted and updated; it looks good.

Sizes haven't met any thing for a long time - use to be USA made but with all the cheap foreign manufacturers - sizes are a gamble and just allow you to pick something in a 'range' of numbers.

As much as I hate to shop, I had to b&m shop last week for new summer things because when I say I had nothing to wear, I meant it.  Nothing fit me from last year so I really needed to try things on instead of guessing.

Yes- trying on clothes is required with my weight fluctuations. I try not to freak about the size number (sigh). The mirror view is key.
