Iamstilloxox, so sorry to hear about more surgery needed.

I missed all of ams.  I slept in then hung 2 large loads of laundry outside & fixed pancakes & coffee for breakfast.

It has been a hectic week.  DH & I purchased 4 shrubs & 4 tomato plants on Tuesday.  It was rainy & cool on Wednesday, so we planted everything on Thursday.  We have had some very timely showers this week, so hopefully they will flourish.

Yesterday I hung wash out, got groceries & went to my parents gravesite.  It was bittersweet as it is only the 2nd time going with my just myself & my DH.  It looked like rain so we came home & got the laundry in just before we got more showers.

We are heading out soon for 3 more cemeteries real soon.  

Bird Mama, you bought some fun things to redo your kitchen.  I grew up with a tea drinking mom, so we always had a kettle on top of the stove.  Whenever we had the croup, we would breathe in the steam.

It is another beautiful 70's sunny day, but maybe rain tomorrow & Monday.

Ha so the weather is pretty nice here we decided to go over to the pool for a while, I have a 2 30 hair apointment, so it is better than sitting in the house, at least I hope so lol

I was 50 when I lost my dad. Do not know how this would compare with others' experiences. I do know that he was the first of the "parents" to leave us. He had his first open heart surgery when he was 50ish and his mother passed at 50 from a heart attack.
