Fortunately, the reps , at least, spoke english fairly well. However, they did not seem to be very adept at doing their jobs. All I was wanting to do was buy the product they are selling. It seems they would be trained to do that in a flash.
I love my tracfone too as long as I don't need to call customer service. I've never had a good experience with them.

I've had good luck with live chat. I'd rather do that than call.

Oh yes they do - when I called back after it was not tripled to find out why the rep said that absolutely it should be triple - that all the android phones triple everything. She was excellent and did fix the issue within about 30 min which was the best service I had all day long.

That is where I started out when i lost the 500min. They said they would restore the min I lost but did not do it. I went back there again to find out why and they said they could not do it and I had to call the CS #. CS never got me back those 500 min but I was able to buy 900 for $10 so I am leaving it at that.

Wow, that's great because the service guides I've seen say they don't. I'm expecting my first talk/text/data phone to be delivered next week and I can envision needing to only add data at some point.

Happy Housewife, what phone number are you using to call TF? And if you get an automated system, what option are you choosing to speak to a live person? My TF is scheduled for delivery on Saturday, but I will not activate it until Monday as I am waiting for my Straight Talk monthly plan to be a little closer to running out. TIA!

BTW...here is a link (if the Q's linking system will let me do so) to the TF Android info page, and it does state that data cards do not triple. ![]()

Happy Housewife, what phone number are you using to call TF? And if you get an automated system, what option are you choosing to speak to a live person? If you go to tracfone's facebook page they have a way there for you to chat with a service tech. if they can't resolve it there they give you a 800 number to call and a PIN # to use on that call for it to be resolved over the phone.

Okay...thank you! I have several TF numbers I've got "saved"...lol...and wondered which one you had used. I had trouble activating my husband's TF a couple of years ago on the website and had to call and also experienced the same thing when I activated my latest Straight Talk phone, so I am calling to activate this time, since I've had to call the last two times anyway. Was just wondering if there is a number that connects to a live person who knows what they're doing. lol Thanks for all of you help!
