scanner mouse memory requirement

If you have an older computer there could be an issue with the Halo ScannerMouse.

I started the install CD and immediately had a warning.

VIDEO MEMORY

128 MB of dedicated memory or

348 of shared memory is required.

Well, obviously NOT. I appreciate the fact that the install CD scanned my computer and gave me the warning about limited function with my particular computer. I should add that it really is not a matter of the age of the computer; the issue is one of the amount of dedicated and shared memory on your system. There is no issue with the ScannerMouse itself. This is strictly a matter of a memory deficit on my system. Hope this helps someone else.
