quality of HP Notebook (17.3 screen)

Christine,

Saw the special today on the HP laptop with the blu ray player. However, after reading the some of the product reviews I decided not to buy it. Seems like people were having problems with it and customer service wouldn't honor the warranty. What is going on with that? I would hate to pay a grand on something and just be out the money.
