iPhone Glitch since downloading newest IOS

Iphone users having downloaded the newest IOS update are (sometimes) experiencing freezing or the phone closing down coming out of no-where.  It was happening to my phone since I downloaded the update and this morning I couldn't get it to open no matter what I did....  I tried everything I knew how to do so I went on line to explore what people were saying about it.  Apparently it's quite widespread....

I tried what one person said worked for him.... I turned off Siri!  I waited a few minutes  and then viola... I was able to open it, slide it anywhere I wanted and open whatever apps I wanted!  It's been working all day!

Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone experiencing this..... Woman Happy

No more Siri for me until they come out with yet again another upgrade....

@Q4u  I downloaded that and have had no problems but thanks for posting so we know.  I hate these downloads cause you always wonder if you are going to have issues!

Always good to know the glitches when there's an update. I usually wait weeks before upgrading. I'm in no hurry with this one. Thanks for posting.

UPDATE: Re: iPhone Glitch since downloading newest IOS

UPDATE:  An update regarding this problem with the iPhone 6Plus....  Had my phone professionally looked at and evaluated and it is NOT a software update problem/glitch or virus.  IT IS A HARDWARE PROBLEM with the screen!

The professionals took my phone apart and reconnected the leads to the screen.  I'm to use the phone for a week to see if it freezes again.  So far (since 12:00 noon yesterday) no freezing... I am cautiously optimistic that they fixed.  If the problem starts again they will give me a new phone (I'm still under the warranty).

If you're having a problem like this.... keep in mind that it might be hardware-related.
