Please don't be insulted by my questions--

Are you sure the outlet where you have it plugged in is a working outlet?

Is the cord in good condition?

Are you using the charger which came with it, the one with the bulkier end, not the iPhone charger?

You can check out the link below on the ipad forum.

Look under settings and make sure Bluetooth is turned off.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

It won't hold a charge at all? It's completely dead and won't wake up if you leave it plugged into the wall charger?

Happygal, yes, the outlet is working. For ex., I plugged it in yesterday, it charged to 100%. I used it for just a few minutes yesterday and this a.m. it was down to 60%.

Thanks for the link.. I will look into it.

Gidget, I will look into that, also, thanks.

Jaxs mom, it does charge, see first sentence above.

Thanks everyone for your responses.. appreciated.Cool

Note to Gidget, the Bluetooth was on, so I turned it off. Wondering what the connection is, but if it works, that would be a good thing.

Don't exactly know, but I never used Bluetooth on my iPad until I got recently got a Fitbit. I'm finding Bluetooth drains the battery _very_ quickly. Hopefully it's an easy solution for you.

Sometimes, when you do one of the system updates that Apple releases, it somehow turns the Bluetooth on. After I finish my updates now, the first thing I do is look at the Bluetooth setting. I don't know why it happens when updating, but I've had to turn it off before. Also, sometimes when I swipe up on the screen, I mistakenly hit the Bluetooth icon with my finger, turning it on.

I have Bluetooth turned on (I have a Bluetooth keyboard) with my iPad and the battery life is just fine.
