When you go to the Apple site, and build an iPad, they do not stay at $399 for long. If you go up in memory, that price jumps pretty quickly. Why not just tell people what it truly retails for at each level in the ads?

The additional $30 a month on the Verizon bill, what does that cover?

Do you use the iPad instead of OR in conjunction with your laptop/desktop computer?

I have read a lot about the iPad and carrying it around on a regular basis. Those that really love the iPad state that they can use the Nook app or the Kindle app on the iPad and only carry one device. That sounds appealling. On the other hand, many of the reviews from iPad users/owners state that they ending up buying a separate Nook or a Kindle in addition to their iPad because it is uncomfortable to carry and hold in their hands for long periods of time. What is your personal experience?

Thanks!
