iPad: problems when playing games?

I do not know how to explain in tech terms. My favorite games are candy crush, farm heros and pet rescue. I have the iPad installed free games. While playing: the screen will change to blank with colors black or white. When I return to the home screen you can see multiple screens in the background. I click on the screen previously playing but the same thing happens. I do not know how to clear the other screens. I do not want to damage my iPad. The company for the games have not answered my questions or concerns. iPad support indicated it was issues with the games. Am I crazy or has anyone else experienced the same issues. My iPad is the 2nd gen. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. SouthernBee

On your home screen go to settings, scroll down to Safari, on the right side choose clear history and website data. See if that helps.

@butterfly123: Thank you for your help. I just tried it. Also noticed under safari that background screens were turned on and I turned it off but no help with my issues. When I try to explain my issues to anyone - they said never heard of anything like that but look at me like "fruitcake bonkers"!!! Southern Bee

Just cleared the safari history and the bookmark history. Nothing changed. Game still goes blank and can see multiple screens in the background. Very frustrating. I have uninstalled the games and waited before reinstalling games.

Try a re-boot to see if that helps. Press the home button & the sleep/wake button at the same time.

If that does not work you may need to re-install the games.

If it's not the games you may have a problem with your iPad.

Ok i think what is happenning is you have alot of "stuff" running in the background. See if this helps go to your home screen, where all your icons are... hit the round button fast 2 times...what you shoulkd see are all the pages that are still open on your phone...simply swipe the picture up toward the top of your phone and each of these pages will disappear till you just see your own opening icon page. Im not sure if this is your problem, but its worth a try. Good luck

If that doesnt help, go to safari icon , all the way to the right are 2 squares on top of each other, hit that and more pages will open, just x them out to get rid of them..maybe that will help.
