iPad Mini

I recently bought an iPad mini 64GB wi-Fi only. It is 5 months old. It is nice and the screen is very good for a non-retina screen. The only trouble I have with it is the battery life. It says up to 10 hours and mine only gets about 5-6. You can actually see the battery life go down about every 15 minutes to 1/2 hour. None of my other Apple products do this. Any comments on your experience with battery life on yours? I even stopped the Location services, Bluetooth,it is on airplane mode, I do my mail when I want to check it, I turned the brightness of the screen way down,I tuned Siri off,FaceTime and iMessage off also. I just have my Apps and wi-Fi on. I didn't buy this this to have it plugged in all the time. I bought this to carry in my purse or use around the house when I want. I am making an appointment at the Apple store near me for next week. I think the battery is bad. There are some complaints online regarding how bad the battery is. Thanks.
