I downloaded the update for my i phone 5 last week.

Now when I ask siri to remind me of something I get no  reminder on the phone but on the computer instead. Oh, I also just downloaded Sierra.

There is also an update for Sierra 10.12.1.  Is that what you installed?

I don't know how your iPhone is "paired/synced" to your comp but you need to recheck your settings especially Siri now that it's included in the OS.

You should also post in Apple's iPhone forums

Mzmac, thank you for your reply. I did download the update for siri. I also activated siri for the mac.

I keep checking my settings, but know I must be missing something. 

I will post my question at the apple site.

Now the phone sometimes doesn't make a sound when texts come in. I sat last night waiting for a reply to a text and after an hour decided to check my phone. The person had texted but no tone.

mr henny thinks I need a new phone. Qui sait, lol.
