help again with iphone 4s - sound quality

Hi Group -

I've only had this iphone 4s for 6 days, and I'm wondering if I should take it back, and get another phone.

Everyone I talk to on the iphone 4s says I sound muffled, or in a tunnel, or like I am talking through a pillow.

Called Verizon 611 and they are useless.

Any clues?

Thanks so much, I will be thankful for any and all suggestions.
