Hi..One of our employees is having a problem with his netbook..he gets a message at startup saying Check Cable Connection...No bootable device..insert boot disk and press any key..
While looking this up on the internet I find that it most likely is a bad hard drive...
I have taken out his hard drive and put it back in just to check to see if it's a loose connection somewhere and that didn't work..
I have another netbook of the same model and manufacturer..do you see any problem with me taking out the good hard drive from the working netbook and putting it in the not working netbook to diagnose the problem..? Could I mess up the hardrive that I know is working by doing this?...
Thanks..DW
