ecoflow delta 2 max extra battery (item E317867) return question

if i would need to return this battery within 30 days of purchase DEFECTIVE OR NOT for a refund, does qvc charge to do that? item E317867.

does the qvc chat reply below sound correct with a maximum $10.95 charge?

my chat reply:

A Q return label may or may not be deducted from the refund. Depending on the reason for the return. With all returns you do have the option to use your own shipper vs using the return label. If you choose to use your own shipper please keep the tracking number for your records. The weight of this item is approximately 42lbs. The Q return label would be $10.95.

Re: ecoflow delta 2 max extra battery (item E317867) return question

It sounds like it but don't take my word for it. Q always deducts the original shipping and the return cost from your refund.

If it was me, I would never use a Q label for a $799.00 product. It's parcel post, the slowest and lowest priority mail. It often relies on 3rd party truckers to move it from place to place and they aren't making a trip if it isn't profitable.

I'd box it up and take it to the post office for priority mail or 1st class-with-tracking postage. I'd even consider insurance. Yes, it'll cost more than Q's label but you'll have immediate/constant tracking, faster shipping time, and coverage if it gets lost.

Only if an item is defective you do not pay to ship it back to QVC. If you use their label and they do charge you to ship it back, then contact customer service for the credit.

If when you bought the item and you was charged an initial shipping fee, that money is not returned.

@smeeg smago.  Yes, chat sounds correct.  I wouldn't return it any way other than with QVC's label.  It may take a couple of days longer but it's insured once you turn it over to the shipper.  Get and keep your receipt.  There is no restocking charge, if that's what your asking.

Re: ecoflow delta 2 max extra battery (item E317867) return question

This is my experience from a little over a year ago year ago. I purchased the Ecoflow ONEUP 1600. My sister purchased the same one at the same time. Hers came first and worked beautifully. Mine came 3 days later and would not charge with the wall outlet or the solar panel. We took it to my sisters house because she has a newer house. It wouldn't charge there either. We boxed it back up and I sent an email to the QVC return team explaining the above. The USPS and FedEx refused to accept it. We were willing to pay to return. The UPS clerk refused to accept it and informed us that the senders need a special authorization to send these large lithium batteries.

I contacted the Q return team and they sent back an email advising me to discard it at an e waste facility. They refunded my money and I took it to our city ewaste facility. Here is a copy of my email:

Dear Easy Returns,

I attempted to return the ONEUP today without success. UPS refused to take it as did FedEx and USPS. UPS said that they need authorization from QVC.

I called into customer service and spoke to Valerie at 2:15 PDT. After consulting with her supervisor, she said that the power station is not returnable and that QVC will refund the full charge to my credit card and that I am to dispose of it at an appropriate disposal site.

I have no problem with this but I want to verify in writing that this is the proper procedure before I dispose of it. I don’t want to dispose of it and then find out that it can be sent back. Could you please verify that this is the proper procedure.

thanks for all the repies to my post.  very surprised by the reply just above by "chou chou", and i wonder if it's the same policy for the standard ecoflow product that they sell now.  the oneup versions might have been different.  they were kind of a relabel version that didn't last too long on qvc.  i'm curious, you copied your note to qvc about verifying their return process.  can you post their reply to your note?

Here is the reply from QVC:

Lynda,

Please,  you will need to dispose of
the unit on your own. If you have any questions, contact Customer Service 1-800-367-9444.

Thank you so much

Hope this helps. I took it to our city recycling center. I have redacted only my personal information from the reply.

Re: ecoflow delta 2 max extra battery (item E317867) return question

yikes chou chou, the same thing happened to me too.  and mine as i told them wasn't defective.  i just got another model instead, at a once in a lifetime price.  she said they simply don't require returns on this type of product, evidently defective or not.  wow.
