e bay search problem

Since last night the homepage will only give me results for generic terms such as "amethyst" or "handbag." It won't allow me to search for a specific brand name or designer of jewelry. Did I hit a wrong key somewhere? Or is anyone else encountering problems that may be on the e bay end of things?
