dvd burner?

HI!

I have read somewhere before (dont remember where) that there is an app that lets you burn your dvd in your macbook pro memory so you dont need to insert the dvd again. I was trying to search for the name but could not find it. If anyone knows what I am talking about please let me know. Thanks!
