I worry more about people believing anything they see/hear than the AI creating the stuff. You can always pull the plug on the computers if things spiral too far out of control.

@raspberrygal  Agree 100% and often say that myself.  I am concerned about AI.  Watch the movie "I, Robot".  That is science fiction which often becomes science fact.  Scary and hope I'm gone before it happens.

Originally, I "thought" it was a good idea when doing a "search", because it was giving more concise answers...

But NOW...I find it a lot of nonsensical "gobbledygook".

@gardenman  There will always be those who will refuse to "pull the plug" to the detriment of others.  AI will be so pervasive that it will be difficult to control.

Re: do you worry about AI?

[ Edited ]

The horse is out of the barn.  No point in worrying about it.  I try to be aware of it and do what I can to protect myself as I do with matches and electricity.

And it is something like a lot of life out of my control so I pray about it a lot.  I believe in that.

things can go awry with AI:

In 2017, an AI drowned itself in a water fountain. The robot, stationed in a Washington D.C shopping centre met its end in June and sparked a Twitter storm featuring predictions detailing doomsday and suicidal robots.

I don't worry about it but I do not use it. I have no need for it.
