Yes, I have a Bose radio/cd player hooked up to play sound from my tv.  It augments that sound, but not as well as a true home theater system would.  But it's a help.

Enjoy.

I love Bose.  I've used their products since the 70s - some great speakers back then, too!

I also have a set of Bose speakers on the computer upstairs in my office, that I use as a desktop (it's a laptop).

I had the original Bose back in the day but ended up selling it to pay some medical bills many years ago.  Loved it, though.

I also have the Bose speaker thingy that you put your iPod in.  That's pretty great, too.

'Only' a 50" in the guest bedroom?  Our main room has 'only' a 48" (but then, until just a couple of years ago we had a late '70's Magnavox tube TV in a wooden cabinet . . .).

Must be great to have a whole house audio system.  Can you specify which rooms are "on"?  Is it all wireless?  I ask because I'd like to upgrade my system and lots has changed since I saved my college summer paycheck to buy monster Philips speakers.

No doubt Bose is a nice product.  Even the little bluetooth speaker is impressive.
