I've recently upgraded to a Smartphone and added 2GB to my existing plan. I only make a few calls per day and never go over my allowed minutes. I don't text at all, but wanted to be able to check my emails and have access to a couple Apps. Is 2GB an adequate amount to start with or should I increase it?

TIA.

Two gigs of data would let you read a lot of emails. That's a serious amount of data. It's not a lot if you want to stream video to a smartphone, but for email, it should be perfectly adequate. Even for downloading apps it should be fine.

I have 4GB per month because when I upgraded my phone 4GB costs the same as 2GB. I check my e-mail several times a day, have downloaded some apps, and occasionally get online to check something. 2GB would have been fine. I have very rarely even come close to using 2GB.

Thanks to everyone that replied. Glad to know that 2GB will be more than adequate for me.

nutmeg3- the info to calculate usage was VERY helpful!
