Just an FYI...Starting April 18, YouTube TV is increasing the base price from $64.99 to $72.99 per month.

Re: YouTube TV price increase

Thanks for the Info. Currently I have Sling TV, but they have recently made a bunch of changes to the programming that I am not happy with. I was thinking of either HULU Live or Youtube TV. I was leaning towards Youtube because the price was lower then HULU.

Re: YouTube TV price increase

I have little doubt that streaming services will soon all be in the same situation as cable and satellite.  In my area Hulu removed ABC from their line up, without notice, as they are in a contract dispute with station owners.

@Marp    Get yourself an inexpensive over the air interior antenna and you can watch all the local channels.  I get about 50 on my $12. MOHU antenna.  All you do is screw it into the TV where the cable went and change the source with your remote.

@Kachina624,  where I live I would need an antenna height of 75 feet minimum.  Most around here that use an OTA antenna are at 150 feet.

I am completely surrounded by mountains and while I'm at about 2500 feet the surrounding mountains create a "bowl" effect rising well above my elevation.  Also, I am close to 100 miles from most stations.  I'd be very happy to get the 10-15 "local" OTA stations but without the right kind of antenna I can't.

They gotta follow this great economy in which we are now living. My mind keeps drifting back to!! Never mind.

OP here...we love YTTV and aren't tempted to switch even though it is now $3 more expensive than HuluLive. YTTV has more of the channels we watch, allows three devices to be using YTTV at the same time, and has an easy interface. The picture/sound is clear/vivid with no stuttering.

Re: YouTube TV price increase

@Kachina624  Yep same here...got the antennas on 4 of my tvs and I get about 40 channels...love it.

We just got rid of sling yesterday. Realized I don't watch enough stuff on it to warrant 40$ a month.  Kept Hulu and Netflix (so far) but I'm loving the free programming on my Roku tvs as well.

Re: YouTube TV price increase

I have just an antenna too.  Gotta love FREE TV!  If I were to get any sort of streaming service, it would be PBS Passport; it's $5 per month.
