Yet another Kindle question

Unlike any other site I use, when I click on the WEB, the first page I get is the Amazon sign in page. I don't mind that, but the box for my email AND the password box remain filled in no matter how I try to delete the password. It just doesn't seem safe to me to have all that info so easily available. Anyone could pick up the tablet and be on my Amazon account.

Should this screen be this way? Just doesn't feel safe to me - even on QVC to post here, I have to put in my pin every time I sign on.
