Yahoo e mail issues

I have had the same e mail since 1999 no real problems with the e mail, with in the last two weeks I am not getting e mails from one friend, I know of at least 5 e mail he has sent. I have tried everything and no idea why I am not getting them.

Any ideas of thoughts would be very appreciated
