We are suddenly getting an XPCOM error message when we try to access firefox on one of our computers. I googled it and there was a recommendation to download pccleaner to fix the error. Is this good advice or would it be better to uninstall firefox and reinstall it? I would prefer not to do that. What do you recommend?

I would not install a PC Cleaner. Fire Fox has a suggested fix from their site. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/968348

Thank you so much! I'll try just reinstalling it (hubby would rather not lose his bookmarks).

You hubby needs to learn how to backup or save his bookmarks. It's easy to do.

Wow. I never knew that. You guys (gals) are terrific! That's why I ask my questions here. Thank you both! (Firefox is back up.)
