Windows System Defender virus -- got it from using Google?

I think my laptop has this virus. I am wondering if it invaded when I clicked on the yellow rectangle that said "Learn more about Google's new security policies now."

Does anybody know for sure how to remove this virus? Norton 360 is not picking it up so far.
