@SilleeMee   I have two (?) Cortanas listed in Task Manager processes. They have a note attached that they are suspended (which I didn't do). So when I opened Startup, there were no Cortanas there. 

 

I guess that's OK.

 

I haven't used Control>Alt>Delete in 20 years. Nice to learn what it does in 2023.

I ended up having to remove Cortana via entering a command in Power Shell. 

 

If you want to remove Cortana and can't do it though Apps and Features or Task Manager, let me know and I'll give you instructions.
