Wifi or mifi wireless networking for tablets

I just got a toshiba thrive and I use it mostly out of the house since use. I can't get wifi at at certain places so I'm thing about getting a wireless modem since my 4g smartphone has no reception inside some places(mainly work). Any suggestions on what to get?
