Thank you all so much. Everyone is so helpful and it's greatly appreciated.  I guess what kind of scares me is getting locked out of my computer but I read that I can make a password recovery disk so that is somewhat reassuring. 

 

glb - I already do password protect my iPad and I don't have a smartphone, just never thought to do it on my PC.
