I have a chromebook I use to post here. When anyone posts a picture I don't get that picture. I can get them when I come here on my tablet though. Confused.

Is the chromebook a tablet and if so what operating system does it use?  Windows 7-8/Android/an ipad/pod or whatever?

Most photo's are .jpg or .bmp files, do you know what the ones you cannot see might be? What are you seeing with this chrome thing wheren the pix show up on your tablet?

An expert on tablets I am not, just seeingmif I can think of something until someone with more knowledge reads this.

John, both my tablet and my chromebook are androids. Really confusing me.

From what little I just read about chromebook, 

it uses it's own browser, not Internet Explorer/Firefox etc. Since I didn't even know what a chromebook was, I would have to study up on this to do you any good.

Hopefully "glb/gardenman" or someone familiar with chromebook will see this and be able to help you. Doesn't sound like are completely unable to see the pictures if you want. 

It wouldn' hurt to start a "Shout Out Thread" to one of the names I mentioned. Sorry if I confused you and I don't want to add to it by saying more

Had this problem on a Kindle......while online, check the settings (i don't remember which ones) and be sure that JavaScript is enabled.  It took time to find it, don't give up!
