Which Tablet to Get

So I really want an Apple Ipad2 but don't know if I want to spend that much money on it. I'm afraid if I go with a Nook or Amazon Kindle Fire I won't be happy and end up getting the IPad2 anyway. Should I wait until I can afford the IPad2 or go with something less expensive?
