@Tinkrbl44 - I use my texts all the time.  But I have something like 11,000 minutes for phonecalls, which I seldom use.  Especially since I can call anywhere in the U.S. for free on my home phone.

 

And I seldom use the data, if I'm near wifi.  Still the cheapest way for me to have a great cell phone.

 

You can always add data to your phone to get the $49.99 offer for service.
