Re: What to do with old stereo components and records?

Hi @puglet11.  The company name is Stereobuyers dot com, and they're located in Red Hook, Brooklyn.  I don't think they have a storefront, but their phone number is on the website.  You can also request a quote online by filling out a form with no obligation, and I got my quote in a couple of days of submitting the form.  A couple of days after I accepted the quote, they asked my permission for one of the guys to come to my house at my convenience to look at the equipment to inspect it.  I had it all ready for him in the front vestibule, so he didn't have to come all the way inside.  (He was a very nice young guy, clean cut, clean clothes, and very polite.). He looked at the equipment and agreed to take it and handed me the cash right then and there.

I would fill out the online form first and see what response you get.  You've got nothing to lose, and it's a timesaver.   There are still people who want old technology, so you never know.  If Stereobuyers isn't interested, they'll let you know.

P.S.  The website is wonky on the iPad, so I would use my laptop to get full functionality.
