What should I buy for my Gym time

After my trainer sessions, I ride the stationary bike or walk on the treadmill.  I would like to read and/or listen to music.

What kind of device should I buy.  I look at Sam's and Costco and really lost, looks like the difference in cost is generally the memory.

Any suggestions.

@Mistreatedbycs, if you do not want to use your phone, I would suggest a Kindle Paperwhite.  I personally like that it is easy to hold in your hand.  My Ipad is too large to be comfortable while on equipment.  I also use my Samsung tablet, but I prefer something smaller, but not as small as my phone.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

I listen to podcasts and music on my ipod shuffle or ipod nano.

I like the shuffle because it's super tiny and has the built in clip.  I bought both of mine from Apple online as refurbished.

Re: What should I buy for my Gym time

If you buy a Kindle Fire, you would be able to read, listen to music and if you have Amazon Prime, you could record old movies to watch.  If they have have free wifi, you can watch all prime movies.

I "think" you can listen to music.  I know you could if you have wifi. I'm not sure about that if there is no wifi.  I'm thinking about radio stations such as Pandora.
