I use my Samsung cellphone and my iPad. I use Chrome on both because there is no access to the forum using the app.

Only use the app for browsing items recently on air and to make purchases.

@minkbunny If you don't mind my asking, what kind if Chrome book do you have and why do you like it?  I also love my Kindle Fire but sometimes I miss a bigger screen and keyboard.

HI there,  I have an Acer 15 inch and it just seems very friendly to use.  I just open the lid and there it is !   It is fast, it automatically updates and has security features already built in.

I am certainly no techie so appreciate that it seems effortless and problem free. 

If buying one, just make sure you get one that has an End of Service date (or whatever they call it) that is several years away.  The chromebooks quit receiving their updates after a certain date.  They will still work ( I have an 11inch that I have used for years after its end date, I just don't do anything that might post a security risk ).   My current Chromebook cost about $200 at WM on a Black Friday sale and has an end date of 2026 - I have already had it two years so I will certainly get my money's worth.

Google owns Chromebook so you can go to their support page online and get info about each device by make/model/year. They are listed here:

Auto Update Policy Chromebooks

There you can find them by brand name and it will show you when it expires.

@MoJoV  I usually use my laptop, because my eyes like the large screen and my fingers like the wireless keyboard and mouse ( I learned "keyboarding" on a Royal upright) . At night I use my IPad, and on a rare occasions, I use my phone app.

II've only used a laptop. Havn't ventured out into any other electronics yet.
