Re: What do you think about this Tracfone issue?

@OnlyShopsOnline Yes, through HSN.  I didn't know that about their Tracfone department.  I will look into it.  Thanks for letting me know.  If I lost the number on my primary cell phone I would cry.  I think I've had it for 15 years and I get very few spam phone calls.

I've only had my secondary cell phone for a couple years, but I get a good amount of spam calls.  I keep it on silent all the time, so I don't hear them, but they're still annoying.  What's nice about the Android phone is that I can use the Mr. Number app to block the phone calls, which is exactly what I'll do when the spam numbers start calling.

When I purchased my Tracphones, there was a slip of paper with the proper contact info.  Maybe you still have it......

Re: What do you think about this Tracfone issue?

I have activated my phone that I got from the other channel. One question if someone knows the answer.....how do you get the security off that you have to tap 3 or more times to unlock it? I don't want that on the phone and I do not see anything under settings to get it removed.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi, tryinh going to Settings, then Lock Screen, tap on that selection,  then you'll see a heading something like, Select Screen Lock.  Tap that, and you should see a list of choices of how to unlock your lock screen.  I don't know which phone you have, so hopefully this will work for you.

This says you can disable it in the Lock screen settings.

Re: What do you think about this Tracfone issue?

I have the LG Sunset from HSN. It doesn't give me an option under the lock screen. Just only to set  the amt of knocks. Don't like that I will have to tap it 3-4 times to unlock each time.

This is the first Tracfone that I have had that still hasn't complete the transfer from my old phone. Did it last night. Usually it only takes a little while. Getting worried that it's not going to.

May have to call someone about that and I will ask about the locking screen too.

Re: What do you think about this Tracfone issue?

Figured it out. Got the knock lock off.  Had to go online and "chat" with someone from Tracfone to get them to update my airtimes. I did the switch from my old to the new online but it never would show my airtimes. I figured what I should have had and when the CS rep found it it was the same. So I am good to go.

Hope everyone else has gotten their issues taken care of.

Re: What do you think about this Tracfone issue?

The two LG Sunset phones I ordered from HSN are boxed up and ready to be returned tomorrow.  Despite what they said that service was available in my area, it is not.

I posted on the previous thread we had about this Tracfone TS from HSN.

I also didn't like a lot about the feel or look of the phone and I really didn't like how the virtual buttons at the bottom of the screen took up part of the useable space.

I'm sticking with my LG Ultimate II.

I'm surprised that Tracfone is not transferring someone's existing minutes from a non-Android phone into the three buckets on the Android phone.  I'll have to check that out.  I've been reading reviews on HSN and there seem to be a number of people who've had issues with this latest package.

Both my hubby's and mine were activated and the 1350 minutes were transferred into the talk/text/data buckets. Call the Miami tracfone number and have them check it 800-876-5753.
