I bought an inexpensive plug in extender at Aldi several years ago for about $20.00. It works great. We use it so we can connect to the wifi out on our back deck.

@bargainsgirl

Please check how well your router is working before buying an extender.

I use an Android app speedtest to tell me how well my smartphone runs on my network.. You can check different places in your home.

I have a three year old router that is no longer being made by the company. I will have to replace it soon.

You may want to do a Google search. How to get the best signal from a wireless router, and there are different types of routers for various sites homes.

Please follow these few steps before buying an extender.
