Okay, first I must admit, this is rather minor in the grand scheme of things.

I'm setting up my new Samsung A14 5G and had a friend call me to see if my voicemail is working with the right message.  My phone rang ELEVEN TIMES before it went to VM!   Just too many, IMO.

I went to all the various settings to find "number of rings" or anything related, and found nothing.  So, I asked the person who seems to know everything about cell phones and Tracfone and she said "I didn't know you could change the number of rings on phones".

Huh?

I went back to my previous phone for settings ... nothing.

Users Manual for new phone ... nothing.

Yes, I know you can swipe to send a call to VM, but what about the number of rings?

All ideas welcome.

I don't have a Samsung phone, but I found this:

Open the phone app on your Samsung Galaxy. Find and tap the green and white phone icon on your Apps menu to open your keypad. Type **61*321**00# on your keypad. Replace 00 in the code with the number of seconds you want your phone to ring. Tap the Make Call button.

Sometimes you have to call your carrier to have them make the switch.

I like to check to see if a product/company has their own message board. For example when I have questions about Apple products that's where I check first.
