Using Facebook Account to Log In to Another Websites to Make Comments

I am having trouble signing in to other websites to leave a message in their "comments" section. For example, cmt.com lets me sign in with facebook to leave a comment about a video that I watched, but for some reason I can't leave a comment. After I sign in, what else do I need to do? I am so new to social networking. TIA for your help. Anxious.
