How does one remove contacts from email list?  Thank you for any help.

I forgot to say this is for an email contact list on a Fire 10.  I can add new contacts but not delete any.  Thank you again.

@17thfloor Back when we first got computers and mailing lists, I wound up editing the list, and replacing names or other searchable elements with either numbers, or the letter ZZZZZZ so that the searchable element was at a the first or last of the list and wouldn't be searched.

Then you makethe search from A to Y or something like that--depending on if it is numbers or letters.

Surely you have a better way now, but it works. . .

I don't know but try this.

Choose the contact you want to delete, Edit, then there may be a selection to delete.

That's how it is on my Samsung.

You should go to your email provider and change contact lists.

For gmail you can delete contacts from your CONTACT APP by hovering your pointer over the one you want to delete, right-click and delete it there.

If you haven't actually created a contact then just go the CONTACT APP anyway and choose 'Other Contacts' and a list of them will appear. Hover over the one you want deleted, look over to the far right and click the three dots and a drop-down list will show a delete option there.

Be cautious about getting rid of them, you may need one of them.

If you mean you want to remove a person from a group email list, all you have to use the del button on the bcc or list.
