Unreal shipping, processing time and customer service response on order

Recently placed an order for Sony's new Playstation Vita handheld Console, the price was exactly as it should be for everything included in the bundle, so with easy pay I decided to pull the trigger. The order was placed on 2/24/12 and has sat on in process since then, today is 3/5/12. Customer service keeps telling me my estimated deliver date is 3/7 but there is no way this item gets here by then, seeing as it is still in process. After hearing that from a customer service rep yesterday I called again today and got a completely different story, the woman told me that since it is coming from the vendor and not them, it probably has already shipped and I just won't have the shipping info until I receive it. What the heck is going on at QVC that I can't get a straight answer, I have ordered from them in the past and know that they arent the fastest at shipping but having no idea what is going on is completely crazy, seeing as they already have my money. Has anyone else expereinced this or have a better answer than customer service that may not make me worry as much that something is wrong.
